ARTIST & MUSICIAN EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FORM

The Murrook Festival is a local community-led event; that is an ‘intimate gathering’ of people, that promotes togetherness, through a celebration of activities, performances and projections that promotes artist, creatives, culture and connection. 

Murrook recognises and celebrates our successful high profiled mob/artists, but we’re not chasing large commercial acts or marquee names. Instead; this year our focus is on our family based, grassroot talents and shared stories that create a calm, empowering space where people can relax around the fires and connect with the one another, our community and the artist. 

Are you that artist? A performer, storyteller or musicians who can help us align and achieve our vision of a relaxed, quiet cultural ambient festival we desire? 

 Originality: seeking Artists whose performance is about community, culture and connection, whether a personal journey or shared experiences, we welcome songs performed in local language and works that celebrate culture, country and community, our shared connections & story telling. 

Style: this is NOT a music festival … but music is a part of who we are… so contemporary loud pop/rock or country festival styles are “semi-welcomed” but not desired? Performances should enhance a “peaceful” acoustic-style and immersive environment rather than overpowering everything with a loud, high-energy stage show.

Purpose: Artists are here to contribute to a shared cultural experience, not just deliver a brief commercial set.

Please note that submitting an EOI is an expression of interest only and does not guarantee inclusion in the festival program.  While not all applicants will be successful, relevant information may be retained in the Murrook Festival database for consideration for future events.
