NEW EXHIBITION OPENING SOON: Gimbaybiyn Gilanggaray
Gimbaybiyn Gilanggaray
(meaning ‘Feathered Friends’)
Our NEW and soon to be opened exhibition; in time for the school holidays, is a dynamic, multi-sensory exhibition that celebrates the diversity and stories of Australia’s birdlife.
Inspired by the ‘Gould’s Birds of Australia’ Storybox, Murrook is the final stop for this amazing exhibition as it wraps up its national tour.
The Gimbaybiyn Gilanggaray experience is an immersive interactive with our beautiful birdlife and includes both hands on and static art displays with installations both large and small.
Come and learn about the diversity of Australian birdlife and ecosystems and how you might bring a little of that into your own backyard/s. With school holidays coming soon, come and visit us and experience this great exhibition ~ where the kids can have some fun with our "smash box," creating their own bird songs.
