Storytellers Lane Now Exhibiting at Murrook Culture Centre

Storytellers Lane has come to life at Murrook Culture Centre, inviting visitors to discover the voices, creativity and stories of nine emerging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists.

As part of the Indigenous Storytellers Scholarship, proudly delivered by Façon Magazine, this exhibition celebrates the 2026 finalists and the diverse ways they share culture, identity and lived experience through creative expression. From striking visual art and photography to film, fashion, accessory design, writing, music, dance and digital art, each work offers a unique perspective and reflects the strength of Indigenous storytelling across many disciplines.

More than an exhibition, Storytellers Lane is an opportunity to connect with the next generation of Indigenous creatives as they share their ideas, passions and cultural narratives with the wider community. Each finalist has been recognised for their talent and commitment to their craft, with the scholarship providing mentorship, support and a platform to help grow their creative careers.

The exhibition is now open and will remain on display at Murrook Culture Centre until 17 September.
