Murrook Cultural Festival 2025
The Murrook Cultural Festival returns in 2025 with the theme Wakulda, meaning “As One.”
This year’s theme beautifully symbolises shared responsibility, unity, respect and coming together in celebration of culture on Worimi Country. It’s a reminder that when we gather “as one,” we strengthen the ties between community, culture and Country, walking together.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Worimi Sand Dunes (Worimi Barray), the Murrook Cultural Festival is one of the region’s most anticipated community events. This family-friendly and free festival welcomes everyone to come together for an unforgettable evening of music, dance, art, and connection.
From vibrant performances to delicious food stalls and cultural workshops, the festival is designed to be a place where everyone can learn, celebrate and experience the richness of living culture. Whether you’re a local, a returning visitor or joining us for the first time, the atmosphere during the festival is always something special - warm, welcoming, and filled with joy.
Mark your calendars, the festival will take place on Saturday, 15 November 2025, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
